My town

I live in Novomoskovsk. It is not a big city. My native town is beautiful.

There are many sights in Novomoskovsk. There are many squares, streets and parks in my city. Many tourists come to see them every year. Our town is famous for its ancient church. There is a beautiful forest in Novomoskovsk. Many animals and birds live there. There is a nice park near the Samara river. Children like to go there with their parents at weekends.

Cities and Towns

I live in Ukraine. There are many cities, towns and villages in our country.

Cities are big. Many people live and work in the big cities. For example, Kyiv, Kharkiv, Lviv are Ukrainian cities. There are many streets, squares, parks, school, universities and offices in the big cities. Most people live in the high buildings. People go to work by buses, trolleybuses or underground. There are airports in many cities.

Towns are smaller than cities. There is no underground and airports in the towns. There are less shops, offices and schools in most of the towns. People live in the houses and high buildings.

Villages are smaller than towns. People live in the houses. There are no high buildings, factories, universities and supermarkets in the villages.
